Estimates & Pricing
Every project starts with an estimate based on the expected work time, materials, and complexity of the repair or design. Our standard shop rate is $40/hour, and the prices listed below are a general guide. Final pricing may vary slightly depending on your project needs—we’ll make sure you know what to expect before we get started.
Timeline
Turnaround time depends on the project and our current workload. We’ll give you an estimated timeline when we review your project and keep you updated if anything changes along the way.
Need It Fast?
In a pinch? Same-week service may be available for a $20-30 rush fee, depending on the project and our current workload. Reach out, and we’ll let you know what’s possible!
Give It a Wash
When applicable, please give your item a wash before bringing it in. Clean gear is easier to work with and helps us get the best result. Not sure whether washing could affect the damage or repair? Don’t risk it—just ask us first, and we’ll advise you.
Fittings
Some alterations and custom projects are best with a fitting, and we’re happy to arrange one when needed. Depending on the project and time involved, fittings may be subject to a small additional fee.
A Quick Note About Technical Gear
We love a gear challenge, but we also know when something is better left to a specialist. Certain highly technical or safety-critical equipment requires specific training, tools, or certifications to repair safely. If a project falls outside our wheelhouse, we’ll let you know—and we’re always happy to help point you in the right direction.

If you have a specific idea or just a problem that needs solving, reach out! We will work with you during the design phase to brainstorm your dream product. You will get an estimate and timeline based on required materials, the hourly rate, and our availability before starting the project!*

Drop-off
Have a project for us? Bring your gear or apparel our way! Since we don’t have a storefront, drop-offs are by appointment. Send us an email and we’ll coordinate a convenient time and location in the Truckee area.
Pick-up
Can’t make a drop-off? We can come to you! Local Truckee pick-up is available for an additional $5 fee. Pick-ups outside the Truckee area—including around Lake Tahoe and Reno—are also available for an additional fee based on distance and location. Just let us know where you are when you reach out, and we’ll coordinate the details by email.
Collection
Your gear is fixed, fitted, and ready for its next adventure! Once your project is complete, we’ll send you an email to coordinate collection or delivery—just like drop-off and pick-up.
